Mat classes are designed to provide a total body workout with a particular focus on the core muscle groups around the abdominal area and back. Regular attendance at these classes will help you increase body tone, strength & flexibility and contribute to your overall health, fitness and wellbeing.

 
 

how long is the class ?

All our pilates classes are 50 Minutes long, and are available most days of the week, except Sundays. There is a maximum of 8 clients per instructor, which helps us maintain our renowned personal attention and care for everyone. Please remember to wear grip socks and comfortable gym gear. Also, bring a water bottle and a small personal hand towel.

getting started

New clients to our Mat classes start with a one hour, one-on-one mat session with a qualified instructor to learn the basic principles of Pilates, including the neutral spine position, the Pilates breathing technique and correct activation of your core muscles, after that, you can move to any of our group mat classes.

what else to expect ?

We use a range of ‘props’ to enhance your workout adding variety and help challenge and motivate you towards achieving your goals. Props include Magic Circles, Thera-Bands, Hand & Ankle Weights, Gym Balls and Foam Rollers. We supply all fitness mats, towels & pillows to ensure your workout is safe, comfortable & the most effective for your body.
